HQ (Horse Quarterly) magazine going monthly
HQ (Horse Quarterly)
magazine going monthly
HQ magazine, South Africa’s leading equestrian lifestyle magazine for
the past 12 years, are proud to announce that due to great reader demand, HQ
will be published monthly as from November 2012! Giving our readers more equine
reading more often!
The
magazine is written for both professionals and amateur enthusiasts, covering an
age group from teens and young riders right through to seasoned professionals
and seniors.
Since 1999 HQ magazine has kept South Africa’s equine
enthusiasts, competitive riders, stud owners and breeders as well as the
general riding community updated, entertained and informed. HQ editor Johann
Theron says, “HQ set international standards and has upheld a strong editorial
integrity, always placing the welfare of horses first. Not only does it
continuously investigate and feature new proven training methods and
revolutionary ideas when it comes to horsemanship, but also helps to change the
mindset as new ideas are developed. HQ has played an important role in
introducing new, revolutionary and proven ways in which the average horse owner
now approaches training and care.”
HQ is proud to be part of this ongoing change and will
continue to play a major role in shaping the ways our riders interact with
their horses. Now more than ever with double the amount of issues and a
supplement for the young riding enthusiasts. Not to mention that the global App
launch will be announced soon.
The consistency, credibility and professional track
record that HQ holds is unchallenged in the equestrian publishing world. HQ’s
circulation is ABC-audited 9,464 copies sold per issue. Hence, advertisers can
be assured that they are getting the exposure they pay for and more. According
to the latest AMPS figures, HQ readership is at 79,000 per issue. HQ readers
have a relationship with their magazine – back issues of HQ magazines are
collected and fetch a premium when sold as back copies, with some readers
trading them to complete their collections.
The
equestrian lifestyle is a lavish, luxurious one and in the world of horse
owners, money is rarely an issue. From a target market perspective, brand
owners would be missing a great opportunity if not associating with the
industry.
