Andrew has been in magazines for 15 years in various roles from advertising sales, to editorial and publishing.
He discovered the challenges of advertising sales selling space in the weekly Auto Trader magazine to notoriously tough motor dealers. Later, he indulged a love of writing and photography, moving into a feature writer’s position with Caravan Publications and then on to editing the monthly SA 4x4 Magazine.
Andrew moved to New Media Publishing to edit Drive Out magazine where he gradually moved back into the business end of magazines and to a publishing role on several customer titles. In April 2008 he was appointed to his current position as Publishing Director at New Media. He is responsible for a portfolio of around 15 products including large customer magazines like Edgars Club and consumer brands Eat Out, Eat In and Time Out.
